Welcome to HJ Global News, your source for news from Cheonilguk. In order to fulfill her promise to God and to True Father, True Mother made several world tours during the last 7 years, sharing new revelations of truth and opening the way to a heavenly world. This week in our report we revisit the key moments of the 2018 and 2019 world tours, which served as the basis for Divine Providence on a continental level. For the past 7 years, the True Mother has been challenging people all over the world to realize Cheon-Il Guk, a world where all humanity serves our Heavenly Parent. In order to keep her promise to God and True Father, she set herself the great challenge of establishing the heavenly world of Cheon-Il Guk.

True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind's Blessing Ceremony for Heavenly Africa and Prayer for Africa's Liberation

-          January 19, 2018, House of Slaves, Gorée Island

Thus, the providence of National Restoration truly began in 2018! In Senegal, a predominantly Muslim nation, she presided over a continental summit in the presence of the President of the Republic and other government officials, a first in the history of the Providence. At the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the realization of a "Heavenly Africa" project, True Mother pointed out that by moving forward with confidence and conviction, miracles can happen.

ASIA PACIFIC SUMMIT 2018 Opening Plenary, True Parents' Keynote Address

-          December 1, 2018 - Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, Nepal

As a result of the considerable efforts made by members devoted to supporting the process of national restoration, nearly 5,000 people from the 7 regions of the world have now become Heavenly Tribal Messiahs. This marked an important step towards the achievement of Vision 2020. Based on the devotion of members, True Mother began great hope-filled gatherings throughout the world. She thus travelled to the European continent which was still asleep, and which today has become the Heavenly Europe full of dreams. She also went to Latin America, 12 years after last having set foot there, again reminding everyone of the vision and value of this heavenly continent. Along with the great gatherings in the five subregions of heavenly Korea and of heavenly Japan, the central nations of the providence experienced a great revival. The great gathering of the heavenly United States foreshadowed the hope of interreligious harmony. Thanks to the co-operation of righteous people prepared by Heaven, the providence moved in tribes, religious groups and national governments, leading to 2 large gatherings in Zimbabwe and South Africa. 2018 concluded with a great gathering of hope in Nepal, in the heavenly Asia-Pacific, in the presence of 7 Heads of State or Government and nearly 700 couples among municipal leaders before whom, True Mother proclaimed the era of the heavenly world of Cheon-Il Guk.

We must have a movement that attends God, the original owner. Therefore, I proclaim the era of the Heavenly Asia-Pacific Civilization that attends God!

True Mother's firm determination to establish Cheon-Il Guk so longed for by God during her lifetime on earth, led to tireless efforts throughout 2019. Beginning in Korea, True Mother presided over great gatherings of hope for a heavenly unified Korea in the 5 sub-regions. At these gatherings, she reminded everyone of the main mission and responsibility of Korea in this age of heavenly Pacific civilization. The United States, a nation blessed by God to embrace all mankind, was not left behind either. The pastors and other people of God who were involved in the movement for interreligious harmony, as well as for the creation of the IAPD, all testified to True Parents and joined the blessing movement. In South Africa, as a result of the efforts of the Prophet SAMUEL RADEBE, founder of the Revelation Church of God, a great blessing ceremony and the revival of religious groups took place. Finally, the Nation of Sao Tome and Principe distinguished itself by becoming the first country to hold a summit and a national blessing ceremony, where the President of the Republic and several other members of the Government participated. It was an unprecedented event that has remained engraved in the history of the Divine Providence.

True Mother’s Prayer

Please lead this nation, though a small nation, toward becoming a Heavenly Sao Tome that lives with You, Heavenly Parent. Through living up to the principle of living for the sake of others centered on true love, this nation can become a nation You can embrace, a nation You want to love and bless. 

True love made its mark on this indescribable 40-day cosmic course to Canaan for the establishment of Cheon-Il Guk! In Albania, a sensitive region in the Balkans, True Mother presided over the Summit for Peace in South-East Europe during which she prayed for dialogue and peace in the region and expressed her desire to see Europe serve God. At the Asia-Pacific Summit in Cambodia, they presented the "Phnom Penh Declaration" in support of the creation of the Asia-Pacific Union, but also launched the Asia-Pacific Chapter of the International Summit Council for Peace. Subsequently, the international conference organized by the Federation of Chinese Peoples took place in Taiwan, during which the participants expressed their determination on the behalf of more than 1.7 billion Chinese to achieve a peaceful world.

This was followed by the Hyojeong Culture and Family Blessing Festival in which 7,000 couples, including political figures, expressed their determination to realize the ideal of one family under God. The providence of national restoration has now spread to the world, and from Niger, a significant step has been taken towards the restoration of the continent. The 2019 African Summit was held in Niger, co-organized by the African Union, which comprises 54 member states, ECOWAS, with its 15 member countries, and the G5 Sahel, which brings together the countries of the Sahara. At the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to implement the " Heavenly Africa Project ", and for the first time in the history of the Providence, the foundation was laid for continental restoration. 

2019 Africa Continental Summit and Hyojeong Family Blessing Festival

-          December 7 (Saturday), FNB Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa

Building on the remarkable success of the Continental Summit and the blessing ceremony that took place in Niger, True Mother led the blessing ceremony of 200,000 people in South Africa. This event became the cornerstone for the proclamation of the continental restoration, and propelled the divine providence to a whole new level.

True Mother’s Prayer

Representatives from the 54 nations of Africa have gathered here today to register as Your children,

and will be reborn as blessed couples. This is an occasion upon which all blessed families pledge to become Your devoted sons and daughters who will never make You lonely. Please joyfully accept them.

For God and all humanity, nations and an entire continent manifested their exceptional filial piety on this day. A continent of suffering and tears has now been transformed into a continent of blessing. This intense 40-day course culminated in the United States with the Great Gathering of Hope for a Heavenly Unified World, attracting close to 30,000 religious leaders to the launch of the World Clergy Leadership Conference. With this, True Mother fulfilled her promise to God to find nations, religious congregations, and a continent that will serve and honor Heavenly Parent.

When we think of the 7.6 billion people of the world, we cannot turn a blind eye to the children whom the Heavenly Parent wants to embrace. I sincerely hope that you become the righteous people, clergymen, clergywomen and other leaders who can guide people to become Heavenly Parent’s children in the shortest possible time.

True Parents’ Course, an expression of true love for God and human beings, will be established as the culture and tradition of Cheon-Il Guk as it reveals the path of eternal love and peace for humankind.

World News

Next we will watch some of the reports that come to us from a variety of regions that inaugurated the Holy Community in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic.

■ Peace Activities

The Segye Ilbo World Energy Forum

-          June 24, Myeongdong, Seoul

The Segye Ilbo and the World Biz & Sports World co-hosted "The 2020 World Energy Forum". The theme of the event was “Energy Conversion and Green Hydrogen in the Post Corona Era”. 200 experts including the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, a legislator from the Democratic Party of Korea, some domestic and foreign experts and businessmen participated in the forum. Participants spoke about how non-renewable fossil fuels (which include coal, oil, and natural gas) supply about 80 percent of the world's energy and how excessive carbon emissions will hurt the planet. Hence, in the post-Corona era, the "environment" will be a key issue. They forged a partnership to promote the creation of a green hydrogen ecosystem.

UPF - Heavenly Korea: Nationwide Commemorative Event for Patriots and Veterans

UPF of Heavenly Korea conducted a memorial service and commemorative events at all its branches around the country thanking veterans on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War. The city of Ulsan served meals to guests who joined the joint memorial service of veterans and awardees of the Order of National Security Merit. During the memorial service, the Family Federation of the Gangwon Province issued a letter appointing families of Ethiopian veterans as peace ambassadors. Other branches like the ones in Chungcheong Province, the city of Daegu, North Gyeongsang Province and the city of Incheon also thanked the Korean War veterans for their sacrifice during the war. The veterans were given True Mother's autobiography and were asked to join the Peace Road Campaign towards Unification.

UPF - Heavenly Korea: Peace Talks to bring about a Heavenly Unified Korea

-          June 17, Hyojeong Youth Center

UPF Korea also had a seminar with employees and IAYSP members with the theme, A Peace Talk to Realize a Heavenly Unified Korea.” Moon Yeon-ah, the president of UPF Korea, emphasized that the UPF and the other 11 providential organizations should cooperate, communicate and work together in order to bring about a Heavenly Unified Korea. Participants discussed the activities and strategy of each organization, focusing on the roles and challenges of UPF and IAYSP to realize a Heavenly Unified Korea. UPF Korea, will continue to hold peace talks with various providential organizations and create a platform of solidarity and cooperation to bring about the realization of vision 2027.

El Salvador, Volunteer Work and Donation of Food Supplies

-          June 19 

True Mother gave a donation of $500,000 to the Family Federation in Latin America for them to overcome this difficult time. The Interreligious Association for Peace and Development in El Salvador used the donation to prepare over 1000 packages of supplies, which they donated to Socially Disadvantaged and vulnerable people. El Salvador's three-month border blockade has made it difficult for vulnerable people to receive basic supplies, so this good deed and their hard work was widely reported on by the local media, spreading the love and devotion of True Parents.

A UPF-Bhutan webinar on “Peace Talks On-Going through and beyond the COVID-19 Crisis”

UPF-Bhutan also organized a peace talk webinar on “Peace talks ongoing through and beyond the COVID 19 crisis.” Speakers in the webinar discussed ways to maintain peace within the current situation.

Sunhak UP Graduate University, Cadet’s English Drama Festival

-          June 18, Hyojeong Cultural Center

Sunhak UP Graduate University, the cradle that fosters future leaders of Cheon Il Guk, held an English drama festival performed by cadets. Sunhak UP Graduate University is holding Korean and English classes to nurture global leaders as per True Parents’ desire. The cadets, used that time to portray their English skills, learned and polished in one semester. Sunhak UP Graduate University continues to develop English drama festivals for students. The plan is to cultivate leaders of Cheon Il Guk who will create a multifaceted culture.

Taiwan, Taichung Sunghwa 'Shimjeong Cultural Festival'

-          June 14, Taichung

In accordance with teachings of True Parents, who emphasized the importance of “forming a God-centered identity” during adolescence, Taiwan held a cultural festival for Sunghwa students in Taichung. Sunghwa students who recruited about 40 people through SNS and had prepared the entire program with great care—including planning, hosting, and performing—touched the hearts of participants through this culture of heart performance. Second-generation Sunghwa students, who in unity shared the value of “Sunghwa” on that day, could feel reborn and hopeful through witnessing activities, evangelism and the culture of heart. 

Heavenly Japan: 2020 Sunghwa Students Workshop and Scholarship Award Ceremony

-          June 20, Ilshim Special Education Center

Heavenly Japan held the 2020 Sunghwa Students Workshop and Scholarship Award Ceremony. Out of the 219 selected scholarship students, 94 participated in offline and online courses.

Moon Yeon-ah, President of the Hyojeong World Peace Foundation, delivered a video message, through which she emphasized the importance of understanding True Parents' thoughts and practices.

She asked them to become talented people who attend Heavenly Parent and live with True Parents in their hearts. The scholarship students, who participated in the workshop with support, are able to realize their dreams through career planning and scholarships. They all promised to become future leaders who will live for the sake of the other and build true love relationships through these exchanges.

58th Day of all True Things

-          June 21 - Cheonwon Gung Cheonwon Church

In Korea, the 58th Day of all True Things was celebrated at the main temple of the Cheonwon Church.

Members of the True Family, long-time ministers, and members recalled the noble life of True Parents and their efforts to restore the original world of creation by reclaiming the lost natural world. After the prayer of the Director General of the International Headquarters, Yun Young-ho, Reverend Lee Ki-seong spoke on the Age of Holy Community and called for a new beginning to achieve the Victory of the Vision 2027.Members present were inspired by the meaning of this holy day as they sought to take the position of the original owners of creation which we lost through the fall of our ancestors.

Heavenly Korea: Ceremony to Celebrate the 66^th Anniversary of the Founding of the FFWPU

Long-term service awards went to 17 families and pastors who served for between 15 and 33 years.

-          June 25, Cheon Bok Gung Church

Heavenly Korea had a Ceremony to Celebrate the 66th Anniversary of the Founding of the FFWPU at Cheon Bok Gung. Pastors and families who had worked on the frontline for the providence participated in this event. They had reached retirement age after receiving the calling of the Heavenly Parent and True Parents and taking the providential path of ministry with absolute faith and obedience. In this beautiful award ceremony, a total of 17 families received the Retirement Achievement Award. Some had done more than 33 years of pastoral service and the others more than 15 years. In his speech, Rev. Lee Ki-Seong spoke on the origin of providential history, and on God’s Providence for the salvation of mankind and for the creation of a peaceful world. Recipients thanked and gave glory to our True Parents, who opened the Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community era with the proclamation of the firm establishment of Cheon Il Guk.

At the ceremony, both pastors and officials of the Heavenly Family Federation of Korea, who embraced the will of heaven with absolute obedience and filial piety, promised to bring victory in realizing Vision 2027 and in establishing a Heavenly Unified Korea.

WFWP – Heavenly Korea: Women Leaders’ Meeting

-          June 22-24, The Ocean Resort

In this new era of Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community, the WFWP in Korea held a meeting for women leaders which was attended by around 60 central leaders. True Mother had a special message for women leaders asking that we educate the Korean people, because Korea has to become Heavenly Parent’s homeland. In order to restore Korea, the five sub-regions and all providential organizations need to become one. WFWP International president Julia Moon emphasized the message and reminded us that this Covid-19 crisis is a God-sent opportunity for us to move from a human-centered world to a world centered on Heavenly Parent.  Through training, leaders of the Global Women's Peace Network, go on to educate and nurture women leaders in the community with tailored plans and lead the way so they can be owners in this era of Cheon Il Guk.

Heavenly Africa: Zambia - Volunteer Work and Donation of Food Supplies

-          June 14

True Mother gave a donation of $500,000 to the Family Federation in Africa to help families suffering during this Covid 19 time. Zambia has more than 1500 confirmed cases, which has made it very difficult for our family members.  Food Supplies were bought and shared with more than 100 blessed families. Zambian and other African families thank our True Mother for her profound love while promising to become filial sons and daughters.
