Welcome to a new edition of HJ Global News, the weekly news summary of the Cheonilguk.

Last month, True Mother announced the Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community and baptized the future temple to be found in Cheon Won Gung with the name Cheonil. On Thursday, June 4, she presided over a special meeting during which she gave some guidance to the management committee that plans the construction of Cheon Won Gung.

This week we will share with you a special on the Heavenly Tribal Messiah Movement, including the report on the opening of the "Hyo Jeong Yeon"Restaurant in the presence of the Mother.

The Cheon Wong Gung will be offered and inaugurated on the 16^th day of the 3^rd month of the Heavenly Calendar in 2023 when we celebrate Heavenly Parent and True Parents day. On Thursday, June 4, True Mother presided over a meeting with the members of the committee responsible for the construction of Cheonwon Gung, the holy site which will house the temple that the Mother has baptized with the name of Cheonil on the same day she announced the Heavenly Parent's Holy Community. The meeting began with a prayer from Rev. Lee Gi-seong, and after a welcoming remark from Chief of Staff, True Mother's Secretariat Wonju Jeong McDevitt, there were report from various committees. Under the guidance of True Parents, the construction, the inlaid with mother-of-pearl team, the exhibition and art teams all united in one heart, presented their concrete plans for the construction of this temple that will be unique in the world.  Yun Young-ho, Director-General, FFWPU IHQ, shared details on the overall preliminary design and True Mother's vision for Cheonwon Complex, after which the chairman of the construction commission made a presentation on the landscaping of Hwajowon After listening with attention and enthusiasm, True Mother had words of affection and encouragement for them.

This day’s existence is a once-in-a-lifetime eternal [opportunity] in your lives; it is the beginning, the starting point. It is eternal and this is a unique time. Also, today, all different departments are meeting to complete this temple This kind of [meeting] never existed in the past and will not exist in the future. However, [it will bear fruit in a work] that will remain eternally. People from all over the world will want to visit and want to live here. So, you should be grateful for all the blessings you are receiving these days and for being alive during this time on earth. Through this temple, people can receive education. We want to create an environment where they can experience [God’s heart]. Heavenly Parent’s dream was to love and embrace humanity and to live with them as their parent on earth. This parent wanted to realize the kingdom of heaven on earth. Through the Covid-19 pandemic, the world became very unstable. I am sure that conscientious people would have realized many things. As long as God exists, [human beings] with their [constant] self-centered thoughts and way of life will never see a peaceful world. A waterfall begins from only one drop of water. A stream [for example] shouldn’t just stay a stream; streams should join and become a broader river, and that river should connect to the seas if it wants to stay alive. The same goes for our lives. There is a place we need to get to! As long as we ignore that goal, we will go through great tribulation. Conscientious people who think [and worry] about the future will come to feel that they cannot continue without God’s grace and protection. You all are participating in something great that will not be repeated, and you are responsible to fulfill your portion of responsibility! This is not a position that will always be there but is one we hold today. Knowing that, I ask you to give your best, prepare yourselves well, put your heads together and unite so that we can create this unique temple. You guys are determined and ready to move ahead, right? Let’s do our best and design the finest masterpiece. Aju!

 

Following True Mother's guidance, the committee members shared a pleasant lunch and, renewed their determination and enthusiasm to realize a peaceful era of Cheon Il guk with Hyojeon Cheonwon at its center as they hope to offer victory in 2023.

On June 1st, at the HJ Chenwon complex, a place where blessed families from all over the world used to gather, Our True Mother attended the opening of the "Hyo Jeong Yeon" restaurant, which is located on the 4th floor of the Hyo Jeong Café.

효정연 (Hyo Jeong Yeon) is a new restaurant with Korean specialties available for all, located on the 4th floor of the Hyo Jeong Café which was built in 2017. The space, which has a capacity of up to 80 people, was occupied by 30 Cheon-Il Guk leaders, including UPF-Korea Chair Ms. 문연아 (Moon Yeon-ah), who presented a report. This was followed by a performance of songs and dances from the group "the daffodils. Mrs. Moon Julia, President of the International WFWP, then offered the toast of victory!

True Mother expressed through words of love the need to nourish the body and the spirit.

The Daffodils group’s songs have purified and opened our hearts. That was an appetizer. Your body requires that satisfy your appetite with hearty meals. Now, you feed your body; you must also nourish your spirit.

 

In accordance with True Parents' words that food is love, the leaders of Cheon-Il Guk and True Mother shared a hearty meal, prepared through research that meets the needs of modern medicine and the culinary tastes of True Mother. The "Hyo Jeong Trio" then offered a singing performance to celebrate the renovation of (Hyojeongyeon). After being entrusted with the noble mission of "realizing a Korea united under God", Rev. 이기성 (Lee Ki-seong), president of FFWPU-Korea, expressed the determination of all by reading a resolution. The leaders of Cheon-Il Guk then offered songs of joy and cheerfulness.

At the risk of our lives, with all our strength and always true to our principles, we will work towards achieving the era of a heavenly, unified Korea.

It was a precious moment of sharing spiritual and physical nourishment, but also an opportunity to remember True Parents' hearts, who consumed every meal on behalf of God and humanity.

The participants gave shouts from (Okmansé) for the victory of the 2027 vision and went on to their respective mission sites.

Seminar for the strengthening of the Cheonbo Home Churches

From 4 to 5 June 2020, Korea FFWPU Headquarters

In Korea, a seminar for the strengthening of the Cheonbo home churches was held in the presence of 100 people, including pastors and Cheonbo home church leaders. This seminar followed the launch of the Heavenly Parent's Holy Community and was intended to demonstrate the determination of all to begin the Cheonbo Home Churches, in order to lay a solid foundation for the victory of the 2027 vision and national restoration. In his message, Rev. Lee Ki-seong revealed that the ultimate destination of Heavenly Parent is in the home churches, and emphasized the importance of solidifying the Cheonbo home churches in order to realize a united Korea under the direct reign of God. During the workshop, model case reports showed how home-church providence began to take root in each region after the blessing of over 430 couples through tribal messiah activities. Participants also discussed in depth the methods for developing this providence, and pledged to strengthen the Cheonbo home churches.

 

UPF-Korea: Hyo Jeong Tongil 2020 Scholarship Award Ceremony

The "Hyo Jeong Tongil" 2020 Scholarship Award Ceremony was held under the guidance of the Citizens' Federation for the Reunification of the Korean Peninsula and Mr. Yun Sang Hon, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee for the National Assembly. In her message, Ms. Moon Yeon-ah conveyed True Mother's words of hope for the scholarship recipients to become children who serve and honor Heavenly Parent. Mr. Song Kwang-seok urged them to live up to the expectations of True Mother by becoming leaders for the reunification of the Korean peninsula.50 children of North Korean defectors received a scholarship worth $50,000, provided by the HJ World Peace Foundation and the Unification Ministry. The Speaker of the National Assembly, Mr. Moon Hee-sang and the Minister of Unification, Mr. Kim Yeon-cheol also conveyed their congratulatory messages.

 

Korea: 5th Graduation and Launching of the 6th Academic Year At the School of Peace and True Love

In Korea, the 5th Graduation Ceremony and the start of the 6th Academic school year of School of Peace and True Love, an alternative school for children from multicultural families, took place.

6 graduates and 11 new students participated in the ceremony with their parents and pastors.

The graduates, who were able to develop both internally and externally during the school year, offered greetings to their parents and shared inspiring testimonies. As for the new students, they promised to begin a new adventure by growing up as children of Heavenly Parent.Opened in 2015, the School of Peace and True Love allows students to obtain recognized certificates of study at the national level, as well as high school diploma credits. It also offers several programs, such as university entrance preparation exams, character education, spiritual development and principles of life, allowing young people from multicultural families to prepare for their future.

 

South America, sub region 4: The Launching Ceremony of Heavenly Parent's Holy Community for the Firm Establishment of a Heavenly Unified World

Sub-region 4 of Latin America celebrated The Launching Ceremony of Heavenly Parent's Holy Community for the Firm Establishment of a Heavenly Unified World. Through a live internet broadcast, several blessed families from Mexico, Costa Rica and Honduras participated in the service during which they shared the words of True Mother. They were also able to reaffirm their determination to successfully carry out their mission as heavenly tribal messiahs.

 

Brazil, First Online Peace Designer Event

May 9

 

On May 9^th, Latin America IAYSP held a Peace Designer Online Event, under the theme “Let’s become youth who can change the world with our dreams!” All the leaders from IAYSP joined the Zoom event. Altogether, around 1000 people joined online with 300 Peace Designers from 81 social communities. Around 30% of the participants where not church members but students who got to know IAYSP through Oikos Media and Home church activities. Students who were away from the church had an opportunity to get a little closer to True Parents through the project.

 

Peru, IAYSP - HJ Youth Meeting for a Future of Peace

Also in Peru IAYSP and CARP - held a youth meeting through video conference. More than 200 people participated in the event, themed: “Pure Love is Our Hope”! which featured a very dynamic, youthful and lively program transmitting True Parents’ love.

 

WFWP, Giving for Good

May 30, 2020

 

The Women's Federation conducted an auction of holy items to raise funds for the "Giving for Good" project, aimed at preserving the environment and ensuring the well-being of future generations. 90 women from 17 countries, including the International President, Ms. Moon Julia, and the International Vice-President, Ms. 문선진 (Moon Sun-jin), participated in the auction, which raised nearly $100,000. The funds raised will also be used for a humanitarian project to fight the coronavirus.

 

Japan: Prize-giving Ceremony for reading True Mother's Memoir

Sub-region 1 of Japan organized an award ceremony for a reading contest featuring the Memoir of True Mother.Through this ceremony, Mr. Tanaka, director of sub-region 1 of Japan, transmitted encouraging news on the spiritual rebirth taking place in his sub-region thanks to the 훈독회 of True Mother's Memoir and the various articles were written by the readers. A Memoir by Hak Ja Han Moon, inspires and moves people of all ages.

 

With a vision for the future, True Parents established the culture and tradition of Cheon-Il Guk that will endure forever. Therefore, we wish that you will become blessed families of the Heavenly Parent's Holy Community, who will expand the foundation of True Parents and recreate a new environment through which a world of true love will be realized, one where all humanity can live in harmony.
